I love the way Dean always gives authority figures relevant information - he did it to Kathleen and her murderous partner, remember? It means whatever they decide to do with it or not, they have it.

Also, you *did* tell a real monster all about the apocalypse. How likely is it that it knows (or otherwise might very quickly realize) what you are?
