I'm doing yuletide this year! Assignments went out today - while I don't know any of my recipient's requested fandoms other than the one we were matched by, I'm very excited and already have an idea on what to write. (Must. acquire. English. version. of. canon.)

And on that note,

I am very happy that you offered to write in (at least) one of my fandoms! Getting to read a rare, new story will be great!

As you can see from the requests I made, I am comfortable reading het, slash or gen. Any rating you feel is most fitting for the story you want to write is fine.

Things I am not a fan of:
- Characters cheating on partners or willfully betraying friends
- An overflow of cheesiness
- "breaking up and making up"
- Explicit violence or coercion, though since I listed Being Human as a fandom I guess that should be "if it's the sole point of the story".

If we were matched via Dragonriders of Pern, yay! Incidentally, I've now realized that the prompts in my signup are maybe a bit restrictive. So, while some incarnation of Torene/Mihall would make me dance with joy - especially their efforts to make new Benden Weyr* work - if you don't "feel" those two characters, there's no need to feel guilty. I would appreciate it if you did not break up canon pairings, but other than that - run wild!(Life in the Weyr is different anyway, right? And platonic relationships do exist...)
*Did I really spell "Weyr" wrong in the signup? (Hides in shame)

If we were matched via Beautiful Thing, yay! Yes, if you'd rather focus on Jamie's Mom, or Ste's family, Leah or even ill-treated Tony, that's fine, too. There are two stories I really wish someone would write, though: What happens at school after the events of the movie (assuming both boys continue to go to school), and what occurs during the early times Ste and Jamie brave London's gay club scene.

If we were matched via Being Human, yay! The characters that interest me most on this show are the three protagonists. I'm a bit picky, relationship-wise - canon relationships are fine, friendship stories are superfine, and George/Mitchell is very fine. Annie/George-and-or-Mitchell would have to be set in the far future, though, because to me, that's just not where Annie is at this point in her afterlife. An exploration of George and Mitchell's pre-pilot relationship would make my day, as would a slice of happiness from after the season one finale.

I hope these specifications were helpful to you!

Looking forward to the day AO3 crashes because Yuletide is on,

- mayachain
