Oh God, Jo. Oh God, Ellen.
Every woman on this show is either evil or dies. But no-one could have gone out with more courage and heart than the Harvelle women.

Jo saving Dean from the hellhound. Ellen treating Jo like the adult she always wanted to be treated as. Jo dying before she could set off the bombs, so that Ellen staying with her was vital beyond not leaving her baby alone.

I cried.

Hopefully, Bobby realizes, and not just intellectually, that there's nothing he could have done had he been there. Actually, one person not being in immediate danger was probably the best help he could have represented, in any circumstances.

Dean and Jo broke me almost as much as Jo and Ellen. I never saw real potential for the two of them, still don't, but nobody can say Dean didn't love her as much as he can love any woman. She knew the life he was living, was living the life he was living, and had his number. LittleGirl!Jo from S2 might have agreed to last-night-on-Earth sex, this one didn't, and they were so much better off for it. Those kisses before she died, they were real.

I think that I adore Sammy's conversation with Lucifer even more than the one Dean had with him in the hopefully-not!future. Why Detroit, I have to wonder? What's so special about Detroit? One thing is certain, at least - in my view, the boys are back together and doing as well as they ever did, and whatever happens when they get to Detroit in six months, they won't be alone.

Two fallen angels, and only one is being an adult about it.

Yes, there are parallels between Lucifer and Sam. Yes, they both experienced their older brother letting them down. But Lucifer is still a little boy in a corner, sulking and lashing out at everyone. Sam has learned beyond what concerns only him, has done his best to understand where Dean was coming from, and most importantly, knows that Dean loves him. Which, apparently, Lucifer doesn't.

Go Castiel.
Bad Michael.

Rest in Peace, Joanna Beth and Ellen Harvelle.
