Supernatural 6.12

I can take or leave the dragon. This "mother of all things" business leaves me cold. HOWEVER:

The ouchie bits that made me hurt in a good way:
- Castiel's harsh assessment of Dean's decision
- Bobby's trauma from being almost killed by his soulless almost!son
- Dean talking about Ben & Lisa.

Moments of sheer happiness:
- THAT HUG!!!! Happy flashbacks to Mystery Spot. And Bobby got one, too! *squees*
- the return of empathy!Sam the witness wizard
- conscientuous!Sam questioning Dean's diary-stealing methods
- Dean's happiness at having Sam back
- Cas coming the second Sam called! Made so much more poignant by the fact that soulless!Sam said he called and called and called and Cas never came. The almost-hug!

I'm glad Sam found out about walking around soulless for a year this early. The lying would have become tedious. They've lied to each other enough over the years, don't we all think?
